Stipple Bio taps Lonza platform to advance ADC pipeline
US biotech Stipple Bio has signed a multi-target licensing agreement with Swiss life sciences supplier Lonza (SWZ: LONN) to support development of next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), including its lead oncology candidate STP-100.
Under the deal, Stipple will gain target-specific access to Lonza’s ADC technology platform, including its GlycoConnect antibody conjugation technology, HydraSpace spacer technology and a toxSYN linker-payload. Financial terms were not disclosed, although Lonza is eligible for upfront payments, development and commercial milestones, and royalties on future product sales.
