Teva's anti-IL-15 antibody hits primary endpoint in Phase IIa celiac disease study

Israeli firm Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (TASE: TEVA) announced positive top-line results from an ongoing Phase IIa study of TEV-'408, an investigational anti-interleukin-15 (IL-15) monoclonal antibody, in adults with celiac disease.

The study met its primary endpoint, showing statistically significant and clinically meaningful prevention of gluten-induced intestinal damage compared with placebo at week eight, following a single subcutaneous dose.
