Among significant news last week, Halozyme Therapeutics struck a license agreement for its INCA033989 with fellow USA-based Incyte. South Korea’s Samsung Biologics announced plans to acquire Swiss firm PolyPeptide for around $1.8 billion. On the research front, Celldex released mixed results for its barzolvolimab in prurigo nodularis, and its decision to discontinue development in this indication. French major Sanofi announced it will discontinue development of amlitelimab in atopic dermatitis.
