UK biotech venture investment reaches five-year high in Q2 2026

20 July 2026

UK biotech financing hit a five-year high in the second quarter of 2026, with total equity financing reaching £2.11 billion ($2.84 billion), including a record £2.05 billion in venture capital, according to new figures from the BioIndustry Association (BIA).
