UK launches national framework to strengthen advanced therapy clinical trials

A new national framework designed to strengthen the delivery of advanced therapy clinical trials across the UK has been launched by the Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre (ATTC) network, as the country seeks to reinforce its position in the fast-growing cell and gene therapy sector.

The Advanced Therapy Clinical Trials Capability Framework has been developed in partnership with not-for-profit organization Skills for Health, and is intended to provide standardized training and competency guidance for National Health Service (NHS) staff involved in advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP) trials.
