uniQure shares leap as FDA opens door to gene therapy filing

Dutch gene therapy company uniQure (Nasdaq: QURE) said the US Food and Drug Administration will accept three-year Phase I/II data as the primary basis for a potential accelerated approval filing for AMT-130 in Huntington’s disease.

The company now plans to submit a Biologics License Application in the third quarter of 2026, marking a sharp turn in a regulatory story that had looked much less forgiving only months ago.
