VistaGen Therapeutics gains global rights for Phase III-ready CNS drug
VistaGen Therapeutics (Nasdaq: VTGN), a biotech with a pipeline focused on antidepressants, has acquired a late-stage drug candidate from Pherin Pharmaceuticals with the goal of treating social anxiety disorder (SAD), which affects 15 million Americans.
The drug candidate, known as PH94B, is a nasal spray for the treatment of SAD, also known as social phobia.
