The clinical trials market in Poland will grow at a moderate pace, by around 5% per annum to 860 million zlotys ($253.7 million) in 2014, according to the most recent report from local market research group PMR, titled Clinical trials in Poland 2012. Development forecasts for 2012-2014.
Poland will remain one of the most attractive countries in the Central and Eastern Europe region because of the large population of patients willing to participate in clinical research (access to innovative treatment is poor in Poland) and the superior quality of the infrastructure associated with the conducting of clinical trials, says PMR.
