UCB takes stake in immune-mediated disease specialist

Belgian biotech UCB (Euronext: UCB) has made a strategic equity investment in a Californian immune system specialist, IMIDomics.

The private company is focused on the advancement of novel medicines for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases and is based in San Rafeal.

IMIDomics has been working on a proprietary platform, known as Clinical Discovery Engine, which is based on a large amount of patient data and human-centered translation.
