BN presents cancer vacc data at GU
BN Immunotherapeutics, the US subsidiary of Danish firm Bavarian Nordic, presented three different studies investigating Prostvac in the treatment of patients suffering from advanced prostate cancer, at the Genito-urinary Cancers Symposium, held in Orlando, Florida.
In a study evaluating the effect of Prostvac in patients with early-stage, recurrent prostate cancer, results demonstrated that using the drug in an earlier disease setting decreased the rate of rise in PSA levels indicating a potential delay in disease progression.
