Cadila acquires Italian Crucell division
India-based Cadila Healthcare says that its Zydus Cadila unit has acquired Italian vaccine R&D firm Etna Biotech, a division of Dutch biotechnology company Crucell. Details of the merger were not disclosed, but Crucell said it would receive "proceeds of several hundred thousand euros" from the deal.
