The Canadian Institutes of Health Research has confirmed to the CanWest News Service that more than a dozen scien-tists and doctors falsified or plagiarized research, des-troyed data and even performed experiments on humans without approval. Since 2003, the CIHR has identified at least C$12.0 million ($10.3 million) in federal grants, that were used unethically or in violation of integrity rules.
