CCD 1042 Phase II Trials To Start

- CoCensys is to begin Phase II clinical trials with its anticonvulsant CCD 1042, for the treatment of epilepsy in children who do not respond to conventional therapies. The trial will begin as a 20-patient open-label US study and, if positive, will proceed to a placebo-controlled double-blind trial. The company is also to initiate a Phase II trial in adult patients with complex partial seizures.
