CoCensys' Ganaxolone: Phase II Data

- CoCensys' flagship anticonvulsant, ganaxolone (CCD 1042), has beenshown to be well-tolerated and have antiepileptic activity in an open-label, Phase II trial involving 20 children aged six months to seven years with uncontrolled epilepsy. Of 15 patients with infantile spasms, five had a reduction in spasm frequency of more than 50%, while five others had a 25%-50% decrease in spasm frequency.
