US diagnostics firm Corgenix has received US Patent Office approval protecting the technology behind its AspirinWorks test, to which Corgenix' strategic partner Creative Clinical Concepts holds exclusive worldwide licensing rights. The urine test that measures an individual's response to aspirin dosage, utilizes an aspirin resistance measurement method developed by scientists at the McMaster University of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, which is now recognised by a US patent.
