CPHI & PMEC Shenzhen 2026

CPHI & PMEC Shenzhen 2026 runs from 16 to 18 September at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, and the organizer expects visitors from 140 countries alongside more than 800 exhibitors. It is the South China edition of the CPHI portfolio, distinct from CPHI & PMEC China in Shanghai, and this year it leans hard on where the region has been investing: AI-enabled drug development, smart manufacturing, biologics and digital healthcare.

What is new this year

• The exhibition adds an AI Tech & Contract Service zone, aimed at the emerging-technology end of the supply chain rather than the established ingredients trade.
• The Smart Manufacturing zone gathers equipment makers and service providers across intelligent production, automated logistics, inspection and testing, and IoT.
• A Beauty & Cosmetics Supply Chain zone covers regulated raw materials, precision manufacturing and delivery technologies.
• A Natural Supply zone offers end-to-end sourcing for plant-derived, animal-derived and microbial ingredients.

Why Shenzhen

Shenzhen has become the focal point for China's pharmaceutical technology investment, and demand for access to the Greater Bay Area has grown with it. The organizer points to forecasts of a 41% compound annual growth rate for China's AI pharma market as the reason the technology zones have expanded.

Exhibition floor and programme

More than 800 exhibitors are expected across pharmaceutical ingredients, biotech, AI technology and contract services, finished dosage, packaging and drug delivery, pharmaceutical machinery, laboratory equipment and clean technology.
