Crucell licenses rabies MAbs to Sanofi Pasteur
Dutch biotechnology company Crucell NC has licensed its monoclonal antibodies against rabies to Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of French drug major Sanofi-Aventis. The two firms have signed an exclusive collaboration and commercialization agreement to develop next-generation rabies biologicals to be used in rabies vaccine for post-exposure prophylaxis against this fatal disease.
