DBV Technologies, a French biopharmaceutical company specializing in non-invasive epicutaneous diagnostics and immunotherapies for allergy, has closed a 6.0 million euro ($7.9 million) investment with ALK-Abello, a leading immunotherapy company based in Denmark, and returning partner Sofinnova Partners.
DBV will use the money to progress Phase I trials for its peanut allergy treatment. Sofinnova Partners led the round, investing 4.0 million euros alongside returning investors, with ALK-Abello putting up 2.0 million euros.
