Canada's Dimethaid Research has started the mutual recognition processto seek approval for its non-steroidal anti-inflammatory product Pennsaid Topical Solution (diclofenac) in the European Union. The move follows the product's approval in the UK, which will act as rapporteur in the process. Pennsaid is licensed to Provalis in the UK and will be launched there in March.
