Dr Reddy's launches authorized generic of GSK's $1.3B migraine drug in USA

Indian generic drugmaker Dr Reddy's Laboratories has launched an authorized version of UK drug major GlaxoSmithKline's Imitrex (sumariptan succinate) tablets of 25mg, 50mg and 100mg strengths in the USA.

The drug is indicated for acute treatment of migraine attacks in adults and had sales of $1.29 billion for the 12-month period ending December 2007, according to IMS Health data.
