Elan/Biogen Idec's Tysabri maintains remission in CD patients
Ireland's Elan and US drugmaker Biogen Idec say that 93% of Crohn's disease patients on their co-developed drug Tysabri (natalizumab), who were in their 12th month of remission, maintained remission for a further six months, according to findings from an open-label extension study of patients who participated in their ENACT-2 trial, presented at the 14th United European Gastroenterology Week, held in Berlin, Germany.
