Eli Lilly loses court case for Prosac in Israel
- An Israeli judge has ruled against Eli Lilly in its court fight to prevent Teva Pharmaceuticals from producing a generic version of Prozac (fluoxetine) in Israel. While the drug's US patent is valid until 2001, meaning that Teva can't ship its generic version into the USA, Lilly's Israeli patent has already expired.
