Emergent BioSol gets PSC assets for $78M
Emergent BioSolutions and fellow USA-based Protein Sciences Corp have entered into an asset purchase agreement under which the former will acquire PSC's ongoing operations, including FluBlok (trivalent recombinant hemagglutinin vaccine) and certain other assets. This accord achieves a key component of Emergent's stated strategy for growth through acquisition of late-stage product candidates, the firm notes.
