Employer-funded health premiums up 6.1%
The 2007 Employer Health Benefit Survey of 3,078 businesses has found that premiums increased 6.1% in 2007, less than in recent years, but still outstripping wages. The research was carried out by the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Health Research and Educational Trust. The average family's coverage cost $12,106 in 2007.
