The USA's EPIX Pharmaceuticals has achieved a milestone in its collaboration with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics.
Under the terms of the deal, EPIX has earned an additional $500,000, bringing the total amount of milestones achieved under this collaboration to $5.0 million. The payment is part of an R&D and commercialization agreement that focuses on discovering potential drug therapies targeting the Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane conductance Regulator ion channel.
