EU Approval For Xalatan
Pharmacia & Upjohn has received approval from the European Unionfor its glaucoma therapy Xalatan (latanoprost). This follows its approval and launch in the UK, which acted as the reference state for pan-European approval (Marketletter January 6). Xalatan was launched in the USA last year and is filed in a number of other countries, including Japan, Canada and Australia.
