EU Commission launches health video web site

7 September 2008

Directorate General Health and Consumers of the European Commission has launched a web site for health promotion videos produced in Europe. The aim is to share ideas and best practice and to show what has been done in public health campaigns on issues such as addiction prevention, communicable diseases, cancer or nutrition and physical activity.

From the web site, it is possible to order a copy of a video to use it for non-commercial information purposes, such as showing it in schools.

The web site is always open for new material and the Commission says: "we would be happy to receive your clips or your feedback on the site;" check it out at: healthclips.eu.
