Eurand gets $1.5M as part of GSK drug development accord
Italian drugmaker Eurand NV has completed a pivotal bioequivalence study of an undisclosed GlaxoSmithKline drug candidate, earning a milestone payment of $1.5 million. The new drug formulation, which uses Eurand's Microcaps and AdvaTab technologies, is designed to dissolve quickly in the mouth without leaving a sour or bitter taste.
