Fake drugs in Iraq boosts alternatives
Iraq's Ministry of Health has launched a campaign to drive counterfeit drugs out of the country's street markets and pharmacies, following years of chaos. Some of the problems of supplying medicines date from before the overthrow of the Ba'ahist regime, although the disruption of central government has created a vaccuum which unregulated suppliers have filled.
