FDA approves new Ovcon 35
The US Food and Drug Administration has approved Galen Holdings' Ovcon35 chewable tablets. The product is a new formulation of the firm's Ovcon 35 oral contraceptive which contains 0.4mg norethindrone and 35mcg ethinyl estradiol. Galen submitted the New Drug Application for the product in March last year.
