FDA names Timothy Cote director of Orphan Products office
The US Food and Drug Administration has named Timothy Cote director of its Office of Orphan Products Development. Dr Cote, who previously served as director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Rwanda, will be responsible for promoting the development of drugs for rare diseases.
