IMPAX Laboratories' application to market a generic version ofAventis' antihistamine Allegra-D (fexofenadine HCl plus pseudoephedrine HCl) 60mg/120mg tablets has been accepted by the US Food and Drug Administration. US sales of the branded version were $350 million in 2001, according to the generics firm.
