Final Phase II Data For Biomira's Theratope

- Final Phase II data with Biomira of Canada's vaccine Theratope (Stn-KLH), for patients with metastatic or recurrent breast cancer, show that the median survial time for the 25 patients who received the vaccine was 26.5 months, compared to 9.2 months for patients in a retrospective control group. Biomira plans to enter Phase III trials with the vaccine for metastatic breast and possibly colorectal cancer.
