Biotechnology company Qaigen has become the first German company to be listed on the NASDAQ, the US computerized stock exchange. The company has recently completed its initial public offering of 3,016,500 common shares, including the over-allotment, raising a net amount of $31 million. The shares were priced at $12 and have risen to $15, giving the firm a market value of around $250 million.
