Free Rxs for 18-25-year-olds in Wales
People in Wales aged 18-25 are now able to receive free prescriptions,under an initiative launched by the Welsh Assembly on April 1, which is expected to cost L5 million ($7 million) a year. While concerns have been raised that young English people might now cross the border into Wales in order to get free prescription medicines, an Assembly spokesperson told Reuters that it was felt that this was unlikely.
