Swiss pharmaceuticals wholesale group, Galenica Holding AG, has signed a cooperation deal with a European partner (Marketletter June 21). The agreement is with Pag Pharma Holding AG in Germany, owned by the Netherlands pharmaceutical trading group Apothekers Cooperaties of Utrecht.
Apart from OPG, majority shareholders in Pag are Sanacorp of Germany, Unichem of the UK, and the major wholesale group, Andreae-Noris Zahn AG. Pag says that one of its aims in reaching agreement with Galenica is to underpin its movement into the Single European market.
