GATC sets up Swedish subsidiary
Germany's GATC Biotech, a specialist DNA sequencing services provider, says it has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Sweden. The new entity, which builds on the company's presence in Germany, the UK and France, will expand its sales and support capabilities in Scandinavia. Katarina Nystroem, sales manager of the new Stockholm office, said that the subsidiary would enable the firm to better serve its rapidly-growing client base in the Nordic region.
