- GeneMedicine has been cleared by the US Food and DrugAdministration to initiate a Phase I trial investigating the safety and tolerability of its insulin-like growth factor-I for the treatment of diabetic motor neuropathy. IGF-I may have further applications in the treatment of muscle disorders and neuropathies.
