Dr Reddy’s challenges Pfizer with US launch of Bosutinib

In a significant move to expand its oncology footprint in the United States, Indian major Dr Reddy’s Laboratories (BOM: 500124) has announced the launch of Bosutinib 400mg tablets, the generic equivalent of Pfizer’s (NYSE: PFE) blockbuster drug Bosulif, used in the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML).

US pharma giant Pfizer’s Bosulif ge/nerated approximately $253.8 million in US sales in the 12-months ending April 2026, according to IQVIA data.
