KhimRar aims to become leading producer of APIs in Russia

Russian pharmaceutical company KhimRar Group is expanding its capacities for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) by 10 times up to 50 tons per year, reports The Pharma Letter’s local correspondent.

The facility, which is operated by the company is focused on producing active ingredients for innovative drugs in oncology, HIV, hepatitis C, metabolic diseases, and diseases of the central nervous system. Investment in the project amounted to approximately 2 billion roubles (~$27.2 million).
