Russian antitrust regulator the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has opened a case against the Russian subsidiary of Israel’s Teva Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: TEVA) and the Russian company Grotex for the launch of generic versions of the antithrombotic drug Eliquis prior to expiration of patent for its active ingredient – apixaban.
