Geneva Seeks Ranitidine Clarification

- Geneva Pharmaceuticals has submitted a Citizen Petition to the USFood and Drug Administration seeking confirmation of its right to market the antiulcer drug ranitidine (Glaxo Wellcome's Zantac) exclusively for six months. Geneva says that it was the first to receive tentative Abbreviated New Drug Application approval for the drug in January last year.
