- Genset and Genetics Institute have signed an agreement in which GIwill pay up to $20 million in return for full-length genes encoding novel human secreted proteins from Genset's SignalTag library, for expression and inclusion in GI's DiscoverEase protein devlopment platform. Genset will receive license fees as well as milestone and royalty payments on any drugs discovered.
