Gilead Sciences says that the required waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, with respect to its cash tender offer for fellow US firm CV Therapeutics, has been terminated by the US Federal Trade Commission prior to the expiration of the waiting period (Marketletters passim).
