UK drug major GlaxoSmithKline has submitted final data from a Phase III pivotal study of cervical cancer vaccine Cervarix to the US Food and Drug Administration, as part of its application to market the agent for the prevention of cervical cancer and pre-cancer related to human papillomavirus types 16 and 18. The application includes data from trials in nearly 30,000 women.
