Hungary's Central Statistical Office has reported that the production of drugs and pharmceutical raw materials in the first quarter of this year leapt 27.8% compared with the same period last year. Hungarian drug firms saw their sales increase 37.1% year-on-year from January to March, with the domestic market rising 7.2%, and exports growing an impressive 48%.
