India's National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority has published the set or revised prices of 164 formulation packs, following a meeting at the end of November. The biggest reduction was for global behemoth Pfizer's imported Depo Medrol 40mg injection (methyl prednisolone acetate), which drops 46.26% to 48.69 rupees ($1.24). At the other end of the scale, the cost of a 10-tablet blister of methyldopa increases to 18.96 rupees, a 41.7% premium.
