Carlos Dotres, Cuba's Minister of Health, has said that foreign interest in Cuban medicines is growing, as evidenced by the recent agreement for the export of over 1 million doses of hepatitis B and meningitis vaccines worth $6 million to Colombia, according to Granma International. Dr Dotres added that Cuba has signed medicine export agreements with 10 countries and is considering exporting Cuban vaccine production technology to other nations.
