Irish drug group upgrades web presence

2 April 2009

The Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association has upgraded its on-line presence to improve access to the media and the general public. Among  the improvements are a new monthly electronic bulletin, automatic news  feeds using RSS technology and a strong search facility across the web  site.

Ronan Collins, the IPHA's communication manager, said: "we...wanted to  ensure that the new web site served as the gateway for health care  professionals and patients to access comprehensive,  independently-approved information on medicines and industry-supported  clinical trials via www.medicines.ie and the [International Federation  of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations'] clinical trials web  site (www.ifpma.org/clinicaltrials)."
