Janssen Pharmaceutica's Risperdal "Is Effective" - Six Years On
- Janssen Pharmaceutica's Risperdal (risperidone) for schizophrenia is very advantageous, according to a six-year perspective, with few extrapyramidal side effects and a low incidence of tardive dyskinesia. Data from 12 double-blind clinical trials involving over 2,000 patients also confirmed that doses above 6mg per day are of no added benefit, says the company.
